My Very First Video! Box Opening + Surprise
I hope everyone is hanging in there as we navigate a stressful and scary time. I’m sure you’re familiar by now with best practices for slowing the spread of COVID-19: wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds, stay home as much as possible, leave the masks for sick people and health care workers, and if you’re feeling unwell, call your doctor’s office or a telephone health service before leaving your house to seek medical care. More up-to-date, science-based information can be found at canada.ca and cdc.gov.
As we practice social distancing and can’t enjoy many of our usual activities, it’s more important than ever to take care of our mental health. One thing I find really soothing is watching doll videos on YouTube or IGTV. My favorite channel is Lamby’s Nursery: you can find her on YouTube and Instagram. I’m always impressed by the love, effort, and creativity she puts into her videos. I’ve been wanting to try making my own doll videos for a while. Our current circumstances seem like a great time to give it a shot: I’m home more, I need creative outlets for my mental wellbeing, and I expect others might be looking for fun, lighthearted videos to watch right now. So here it is: my first doll video. I hope you enjoy!
I’m sorry that the items I unboxed weren’t properly visible in much of the video. Hopefully it’s okay even though it’s not perfect; it’s not like I could redo a box opening. I’m sure my videos will get better as I keep learning and practicing!
